About Me
As a born and raised Napan, I feel lucky to have created a home here for me and my family. When my oldest child was 18 months, I opened a family home childcare center. It was challenging to learn all the ins and outs of running a business while caring for children, but I was able to build connections and friendships that endure today.
As my kids grew, I decided to move on from childcare and looked for positions that allowed me to utilize the multi-tasking and organizational skills I had honed while self-employed. I also had several years of communications and customer service experience from working in community recreation and hospitality.
In 2019, I began providing contract work as an Administrative Assistant for the Children’s Museum of Napa Valley. In this role, I setup and managed donor databases, assisted with events, developed social media marketing materials and plans, and helped with various special projects. During this time, I also accepted a position at Napa Valley College as an Administrative Assistant. My strengths as a self-starter and ability to exercise good judgement became crucial when moving to remote work only six weeks after beginning employment. My skills, knowledge, and abilities allowed me to:

-
Quickly adapt to changing situations and find innovative solutions to problems.
-
Work with colleagues to research, propose, and implement new online software that allowed us to continue offering exceptional service to students remotely.
-
Develop marketing materials and informational guides that increased student usage of services during declining enrollment.
-
Digitize and improve data collection and management procedures to streamline recordkeeping and provide statistically supported recommendations.
-
Establish and improve connections with other departments to expand and improve services.
When deciding what to do next, the idea for a consulting service emerged. I love a project and am confident in my ability to find straightforward solutions to common challenges faced by self-employed individuals and small business owners. I hope to use my vast and varied work experience to become a reliable, competent, and dedicated team partner for businesses in our Napa Valley community. Thank you for considering Adrienne Boudreaux Consulting for your organizational and business service needs!
